Are you planning a short holiday and would like to take your four-legged friend with you? Then you've come to the right place. The Hotel & Spa Suites FreiWerk offers you the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday with your dog in the beautiful Harz Mountains. Here, animal lovers will find everything they need for an unforgettable stay with their four-legged friend. Dogs are welcome in selected rooms for a surcharge of €30.00 per dog per night.

Please be sure to register your dog in advance.

Equipment for dogs

So that your four-legged friend can feel completely at home in our dog-friendly hotel in the Harz Mountains, we have prepared a few amenities for your furry friend:

• Dog bed: Your four-legged friend will feel right at home in its own comfortable bed (subject to availability).
• Bowl: A bowl for water or food is provided (subject to availability).
• Treats: Small rewards for your dog are also available.
• Towel for bad weather: For rainy days, there is a towel to dry your dog after a walk.

A relaxing break awaits you and your dog in the midst of the beautiful nature of the Harz Mountains. Spend the night in stylish rooms and suites that are also suitable for your four-legged friend.

Your four-legged friend is very welcome in the following rooms:

• Rooms in the FreiBlick: Some of our rooms in the FreiBlick are pet-friendly.
• All rooms in the Kutscherhaus

The Private Spa Suites, the rooms in the Villa and the sauna and fitness area are only accessible to two-legged friends.

Tips for your holiday with your dog

To ensure that your stay at our dog-friendly hotel in the Harz Mountains is a pleasure for all two- and four-legged guests, please note the following:

• The bed and couch in the rooms as well as the sauna and fitness area are reserved for two-legged friends.
• In the restaurant, we are happy to welcome you and your pet on the terrace, in the lobby or at the bar.
• If the room cannot be sold again immediately due to a mishap, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of €150.00.

A small note: Some two-legged friends are afraid of dogs - but they are also very welcome guests for us. Dogs and their owners are therefore responsible for ensuring that these nature lovers do not feel restricted in our Hotel & Spa Suites.

Information on dog breeds

Unfortunately, we cannot allow the following dog breeds to stay with us:

Pitbull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bullterrier, Tosa - Inu, Bandog and crossbreeds with these breeds.

The following dog breeds are permitted to stay with a character test attached:

Alano, American Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Bullterrier, Cane Corso Italiano, Dogo Argentino, Dogo Canario, Dogue de Bordeaux, Fila Brasileiro, Mastiff, Mastin Espanol, Mastino Napoletano, Perro de Presa, Mallorquin, Rottweiler and crossbreeds with these breeds.
