Experience the legendary Walpurgis Night at the largest iron double cross in the world.
On the eve of 1 May, the witches and devils meet on the Great Auerberg in the Night of Nights. Walpurgis Night at St Joseph's Cross - the largest iron double cross in the world. Here in the southern Harz Mountains, the witches make a stopover on their way to the Brocken.
A colourful supporting programme awaits you from 7 p.m., from dance performances to fireworks, hosted by the witch Elke.
Bus from Stolberg:
6:30 pm and 7:30 pm from Stolberg /Bhf. and then Am Markt/Ecke Kaltes Tal/bus stop to Forsthaus Auerberg, large car park.
Return trips: 10:45 pm and 11:45 pm from the large Forsthaus Auerberg car park to Stolberg, Am Markt and then the train station
Shuttle from Forsthaus Auerberg - Josephskreuz - Forsthaus Auerberg:
18:45 - 21:30 from Forsthaus Auerberg to Josephskreuz, return trips from Josephskreuz to Forsthaus Auerberg at the end of the programme from 22:15 - 23:30. Last journey from Josephskreuz 23:30!
